Purolator International Named a Top Third Party Logistics Provider in 2018 Quest for Quality Awards

Logistics Management Magazine Readers Select Purolator for Performance Excellence

JERICHO, NY – August 7, 2018 – Purolator International, a leading provider of North American logistics services, has been recognized with a 2018 Quest for Quality Award from Logistics Management (LM) magazine. Conducted as a reader poll, the Quest for Quality Awards is the gold standard for customer satisfaction and performance excellence for carriers, ports, and logistics providers worldwide. Purolator International was recognized in the 3rd Party Logistics “TMS” category for providing superior service quality.

“Quest for Quality Awards are uniquely purposeful in our market because the winners are determined by our readers—the buyers of logistics and transportation services who put these carriers and service providers to work on a daily basis all over the world,” said Michael Levans, Group Editorial Director of Peerless Media, LLC., the publisher of LM.

“What our editorial team has found amazing over the years is that no matter how many economic, regulatory or operational pressures they continue to face, the carrier and service provider communities find a way to step up to the plate to meet those evolving challenges,” said Levans. “And Logistics Management readers are proud to honor them with the highest vote of service confidence when they do. There’s nothing that compares to it in the market.”

“We’re honored to be named among the best in the industry for transportation management services,” said John Costanzo, President, Purolator International.  “With the PuroTouch advantage, Purolator International customers receive the highest level of service through our dedicated Client Relationship Representatives. Our team is dedicated to understanding the unique intricacies of our clients’ businesses, providing end-to-end management and visibility throughout pickup, linehaul and final delivery of their shipments.  In addition to our network advantage, this has become a true differentiator of our service.”

About the Quest for Quality Awards

Logistics Management’s (LM) Annual Quest for Quality Awards is the culmination of a six-month research project conducted by Peerless Research Group (PRG).  For more than three decades, LM’s Quest for Quality has been regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence.

To determine the best of the best, LM readers—logistics, transportation and supply chain decision makers—rate carriers, third-party logistics (3PL) service providers and U.S. port operators strictly on the basis of service quality. One of the most notable elements about the Quest for Quality Awards is that it calls these shippers to vote in the genre of services they actually use; in turn, they vote for the providers that they think have best delivered on quality service in specific niches.

This year, LM had 4,500 ballots cast from logistics and supply chain decision makers resulting in 138 transportation and logistics services providers who earned Quest for Quality gold.

The awards will be presented at the 35nd Annual Quest for Quality Awards Gala on September 30th during the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) annual EDGE conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
