Purolator International is pleased to be your shipping partner for this holiday season. Due to increased shipment volume during the holiday season, we have put additional service exceptions and measures in place to ensure we are meeting customer expectations throughout this peak period.

During this period of high volume shipments, there are a few steps that you can take to help ensure your shipments reach their final destinations on time.  We hope the following information will be helpful so you can plan accordingly.

The below holiday cut-offs, which will remain in effect until further notice, enable our operation to respond to significant volume increases and service demand, and to provide customers with more accurate expected delivery times and reliability.

Purolator Courier Ground

  • Purolator Courier Ground shipments will need to be inducted into the Canadian Network by Wednesday, December 16 (for national cut-off), Friday, December 18 (for regional cut-off) or Monday, December 21 (for local cut-off) in order to be delivered before Christmas Day on December 25.

Purolator Courier Express

  • Purolator Courier Express shipments will need to be inducted into the Canadian Network by Monday, December 21 (for national cut-off and regional cut-off) or Tuesday, December 22 (for local cut-off) in order to be delivered before Christmas Day on December 25.

Canada Post/PuroPost® & PuroPost Plus®

  • PuroPost® shipments will need to be inducted into the Canadian Network by Monday, December 14 (for national cut-off), Friday, December 18 (for regional cut-off) or Monday, December 21 (for local cut-off) in order to be delivered before Christmas Day on December 25.

  • PuroPost Plus® shipments will need to be inducted into the Canadian Network by Thursday, December 17 (for national cut-off), Friday, December 18 (for regional cut-off) or Monday, December 21 (for local cut-off) in order to be delivered before Christmas Day on December 25.

Christmas Day and Boxing Day Observed

Christmas Day will be observed on Friday, December 25, 2026 and Boxing Day will be observed on Saturday, December 26, 2026. There will be no operations or deliveries on these days.

New Year’s Day Observed

New Year’s Day will be observed on Friday, January 1, 2027. There will be no operations or deliveries on these days.

Special Handling

Expected delays for shipments requiring special handling: Throughout the holidays, all shipments that require our Special Handling service will incur an additional delay of four to seven days.
