John T. Costanzo

President

John T CostanzoJohn has served since 2001 as President of Purolator International, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Purolator Inc. He’s a member of Purolator Inc’s Executive Council, and reports directly to the chairman and chief executive officer. John is responsible for the corporation’s $100 million US small package and freight forwarding business, including the development and execution of Purolator’s strategic growth plan for the US market.

John began his career in the logistics industry in 1974 with the Emery Air Freight Corporation, eventually becoming senior vice president of Emery’s eastern division. From 1989-2001 he held several positions with the TNT Post Group. He later became president of the company’s International Mail Division, Americas Region. John currently serves as president of the Express Delivery & Logistics Association, a leading trade organization for the express delivery, postal and logistics industry.

He holds a Bachelors degree from Queens College in NY. John and his wife have three children. An active member of his community, John serves on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Association (LIA).

John J. Sweeney

Vice President, Field Sales & Service Quality

John J. SweeneyAs Vice President of Field Sales & Service Quality, John has overall responsibility for Purolator International’s sales function, including service quality and client relationships. He also oversees the company’s industrial engineering and process management functions and transportation solutions.

John has an extensive background in management and labor relations with over 25 years of experience in the transportation, distribution and logistics field. Since joining Purolator International in 2004, John’s had an integral role in Purolator International’s rapid growth. He’s recognized as an outstanding trainer and motivator with the ability to instill a sense of ownership and commitment in personnel – qualities that translate directly into employee pride, best service and higher client satisfaction levels.

John and his wife have two daughters. In his spare time, John enjoys golf, traveling, the New York Giants and Yankees.

William Cikos

Director of Finance and Administration

William Cikos

As Director of Finance and Administration, Bill oversees all financial aspects of Purolator International. In his role, Bill has responsibility for strategic planning and analysis and manages all aspects of financial control, budgeting and administrative support for the company.  Will over 20 years of finance proficiency and knowledge of international business practices, Bill has been instrumental in the expansion of Purolator International into 20 new markets since he joined in 2011.

 

A native of Croatia who grew up in New York, Bill holds an MBA in Finance from Pace University and a B.A. in Accounting from Queens College. In his free time he enjoys reading, running, biking, and soccer.

Michael H. Locke

Director of Transportation Solutions

Mike LockeMike Locke joined Purolator International in 2004 as Director of Transportation Solutions. He has overall responsibility for the company’s air and ground linehaul services, including the development of innovative transportation options to address customer needs.

Mike played a key role implementing a process for capturing daily measurements and critical service data, enabling customer service representatives to communicate with customers on a real time basis with account updates, tracking and troubleshooting. Mike also implemented the company’s first online billing system, as well as an annual bidding process for scheduled linehauls—markedly helping the company control costs.

Mike’s extensive logistics experience was especially helpful as he worked to transform Purolator’s facility in Martin Grove, Ontario into one of the company’s largest and most important operations, critical to serving almost every major client.

Mike is a member of the Express Delivery & Logistics Association, the International Cargo Association and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lawrence University, in Wisconsin.

Arturo Medina

Director of Marketing

Arturo MedinaAs Director of Marketing for Purolator International, Arturo is responsible for the brand strategy, lead generation and marketing communications for Purolator International. Arturo has developed performance indicators and metrics to monitor the viability of marketing efforts.

Arturo assumed his current position in 2007, and is located in the company’s Jericho, NY headquarters. Arturo joined Purolator International in 1996 as an Account Executive. Success followed as he rose to various management positions. Arturo is the executive sponsor of Purolator’s Customer Advisory Council, a collaborative forum designed to align the company’s supply chain solutions with customers’ business objectives and challenges. He is a member of the New York Conference Board and the American Management Association.

Arturo earned a degree in International Business Administration and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French. In his spare time, Arturo enjoys mountain climbing and has conquered several challenging peaks throughout the world.

Bruce Dimler

Manager, Information Technology & Client Relations

Bruce DimlerAfter a successful 20-year career in corporate IT, Bruce joined Purolator International in 2007 as Manager of Information Technology. He has overall responsibility for Purolator International’s information technology systems and processes.

Under his stewardship, customer automation capabilities have been expanded, and systems have been developed to automate shipping and billing functions. Sales personnel now have the capability to provide rapid responses to customer inquiries, and quickly resolve in-transit or last-minute schedule changes.

Bruce has also served as project leader to customize technological solutions to meet the unique needs of individual customers, and ensure the seamless integration of their shipments into the Purolator network.

Bruce is a native of Mineola, NY. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, biking and lifting weights.

Micheline Messler

Manager, Corporate Human Resources

Micheline MesslerMicheline Messler was appointed Manager of Corporate Human Resources in 2007. She is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to recruit and maintain a diverse and highly skilled work force, and she oversees the company’s strategy for training and development. Micheline also oversees and implements all company benefits programs and process management initiatives.

She developed a comprehensive company benefit portal through which employees can access their 401K accounts, and obtain HR policy information. Micheline is a member of the Long Island Compensation Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.

Micheline earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management from the State University of New York – Empire College. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, yoga and the great outdoors.

Ryan Persad

District Manager, Canada

Ryan Persad

With more than 24 years experience in transportation logistics and global supply chains, Ryan Persad brings to employers and customers extensive industry knowledge. In his current role as District Manager for Purolator International, Persad develops innovative solutions to address customers’ logistics and transportation issues.  He is widely recognized for his ability to get things done and think outside the box to find solutions for customers.

Persad has held increasingly senior positions during the more than four years he’s been with Purolator, and he has been recognized for his outstanding contribution
to the company with two quarterly merit awards as well as the 2006 Circle of Excellence Award and nominated for the 2007 Circle of Excellence Award.

Christopher Antonelli

District Manager, Great Lakes US

Christopher AntonelliChristopher was appointed Purolator International’s Great Lakes District Manager in January 2009. He has overall responsibility for the growth of Purolator International within the Great Lakes area of the United States. Chris oversees Purolator International’s branch offices located in Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Nashville.

He first joined the company in 1996 and helped build Purolator International’s customer base throughout the Great Lakes region. In 2004, he was named Branch Manager of Purolator’s Detroit office. In that position, Chris oversaw the Detroit branch’s growth into Purolator International’s largest and most profitable facility. Currently, Chris is a member of the Detroit Chamber of Commerce, and a member of “Northern Border for Economic Security and Trade (NBEST).

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Adrian College, in Michigan. Chris and his wife are the parents of two children. He enjoys coaching his son’s youth football team, and is also a certified referee for high school football and basketball games.

David Borchik

District Manager, Southern US

David BorchikDave Borchik was named Southern District Manager for Purolator International in 2010. He’s responsible for developing new business, overseeing account management and promoting Purolator throughout the south eastern US. Dave has oversight responsibility as well as ensuring consistency of operations and customer experience for Purolator’s markets in Atlanta, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Miami and Raleigh-Durham.

Dave joined Purolator following a 25+-year career in the transportation and global supply chain industries. Most recently, he was Senior Director of customer service/dispatch at Maersk Line international container shipping company.

Dave earned a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Steubenville in Ohio. He and his wife, Teresa, are the parents of three children. In his spare time, Dave enjoys fishing, boating and golf, and is a self-described “sports fan and news junkie.”

Sean T. Kelly

District Manager, Western US

Sean T. KellySean Kelly was named Western District Manager for Purolator International in 2010. He’s responsible for developing new business and promoting the Purolator brand throughout the western United States.

Sean joined Purolator International in 2004, as the company’s Director of Finance and Administration. In that capacity, Sean was responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting. During his tenure, Sean designed and developed an application to review cost and margin data at a granular level. This tool provides senior management with greater clarity and transparency (L-3, LT= tracking for all your shipping to Canada and shipping from Canada) into the drivers impacting the financial health of the organization and enables them to make more timely and accurate decisions.

Prior to joining Purolator International, Sean served as Assistant Vice President and Accounting Manager at Mellon Human Resources & Investor Solutions. Prior to that, Sean was an Audit Supervisor with KPMG LLP.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. Sean and his wife are the parents of two daughters and a son. In his spare time, Sean enjoys golf and the Yankees.
