2017 Holiday Service Notice

 

Purolator International is pleased to be your shipping partner for this 2017 holiday season.  We will be devoting additional resources in anticipation of this peak period.

 

During this period of high volume shipments, there are a few steps that you can take to help ensure your shipments reach their final destinations in a timely manner.  The following information will help you plan accordingly.

 

  • Express (PuroExpress): Express (rush) shipments originating in the U.S and scheduled for delivery in Canada will need to be picked up by Friday, December 15, 2017 in order to guarantee delivery before Christmas Day, Monday, December 25, 2017 (where a guarantee is available).  For shipments originating in Canada, the cutoff for Express shipments is Tuesday, December 19, 2017 (where a guarantee is available).

 

  • Ground (PuroGround): Ground shipments originating in the U.S and scheduled for delivery in Canada will need to be picked up by Monday, December 11, 2017 in order to be delivered before Christmas Day.  For shipments originating in Canada, the cutoff for Ground shipments is Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

 

  • Parcel (PuroParcel), PuroPost® and PuroPost Plus: For Parcel, PuroPost® and PuroPost Plus shipments, please contact your local client relationship representative for specific cutoff dates for your shipments in order to meet Christmas Day commitments.  Due to the projected increased volumes and this year’s holiday dates, the PuroPost® and PuroPost Plus service guarantees will be suspended for items shipped between Monday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 26. 

 

Like any other time of the year, Saturday deliveries for PuroExpress, PuroGround, and PuroParcel shipments will be available throughout December, as an accessorial charge.  Saturday PuroExpress, PuroGround, and PuroParcel deliveries will be made on December 23.

 

Please note the cutoff dates listed above are subject to change and that Canadian residents will be observing the Boxing Day holiday on Tuesday, December 26.  There will be no deliveries on Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26.
